Wonderful, Wonderful Cat Blogging

I'm in a fix right now--feel like a cold is coming on, so I don't feel much like blogging as ambitiously as I had planned. So, fortunately, I reached into my bag of tricks and found this, which discusses a cat's participation in early 20th century technology. Don't laugh too hard (your sides will ache; your heart will go pitter-pat).

And I'll be back on Saturday. Honest.

Our first cat was named Androcles (no Lion, he), but he developed cat leukemia and left us early. So our next cat was another Sealpoint Siamese, but by now we had a son. It was he that named Cat No. 2, Felix. We still don't know how he got the name, because we didn't think he'd ever been exposed to the cat of comics and TV fame. Of course, a few years later, when we got a second cat to go along with a second son, the next cat was named Oscar. No need to gloss that, right?

The best part is giving pedigreed cats names that don't sound like they are descended from European royalty. "Oscar" on a Siamese works for me!
